Oliver Keough

Trombone Teacher

Oliver has played trombone for nine years in many different settings: wind ensembles, jazz bands, chamber groups, three different youth orchestras including MCYO Phil for the past two years, top-level festival orchestras, other honors ensembles, and as a soloist. He also has some trumpet and euphonium/baritone horn experience.

His goal is to demystify the complexities of brass playing, using strategies that work together with the nature and mechanics of the instruments to develop a strong foundation for any level of musicianship. Off the horn, he can also help students understand music theory and provide strategies for overcoming performance anxiety, among other general music tips.

Tudor Goina

Saxophone Teacher

Tudor has been in the music world his entire life and has over 8 years of experience. He has played the Alto saxophone for 6 of those years. While he specializes in Alto Sax, he has also played the tenor and bari sax for extended periods as well. In his music life, he's participated in a variety of settings including wind ensembles, the PVYO youth orchestra, and several county ensembles, as well as All state. He has achieved principal chair in the majority of these ensembles.

His goal is to facilitate better musical experiences and improve people's skills in order to reach their goals, whether it be personal mastery of an instrument, entering a prestigious ensemble, or making this your professional career.
